Since the establishment of the Arthur J. Wall Jr. Scholarship Fund there have been 27 outstanding young men and 19 outstanding young women who have been presented with one of Wilton High School’s top awards. June 11, 2025 marked our 27th Annual Arthur J. Wall Jr. Scholarship Award Presentation and both recipients were presented with a framed certificate and a $5,000 scholarship. Additionally, due to the success of our annual golf outing and the cornerstone of our award being community service, we started a Community Outreach Program in 2012 where we provide a portion of the proceeds from our annual golf outing to other local 501 (c)(3) organizations who help Wiltonians and the surrounding communities.
Our 2024 Community Outreach Recipient was Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital which was awarded $5,000. Past recipients include: Bronx Lacrosse, Wilton Rocks for Food and More George/In A Heartbeat (2024), Circle of Care (2022), Disabled American Veterans CT Service Foundation (2021), Stay at Home Wilton (2020), Connecticut Special Olympics (2019), Wilton Library Children’s Theater and Lower Fairfield County Child Guidance (2018), Riverbrook Regional YMCA (2017), Wilton Student Financial Aid Committee (2016), Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps (2015), Wilton Youth Council (2014), The Wilton Police Gift Fund (2013) and Trackside Teen Center (2012) who were awarded a minimum of $5,000 each on behalf of the golfers and businesses who support our annual event. In total we have provided over $110,000 to other 501(c)(3) organizations via our Community Outreach Program. We are pleased to have started a tradition of giving back to this great community and will announce our 2025 Community Outreach Recipient after our annual golf outing in September.
Although our past recipients have varied in their achievements at Wilton High School, each student athlete consistently and actively participates in various community service events and represents the best Wilton High School has to offer. We have awarded $200,000 to the following Wilton High School Graduates and are proud of all their achievements.
