2025 Recipients - Abigail Phelan & Daniel Babashak

Addy was a 4 year cross country and lacrosse player while Daniel was a 4 year outdoor track runner who also participated in cross country and swimming - both were captains of their teams. Academically both Abby (3.98 cumulative GPA) and Daniel (4.00 cumulative GPA) were outstanding students who were members of the National and Foreign Language Honor Societies and consistently placed on High Honor Roll. Both earned National Merit Commendations. In addition to their athletic and academic successes, Abby and Daniel were active in clubs and activities with a focus on helping others and both dedicated over 500 hours of community service. Daniel focused his efforts as property steward for the Hawkins Preserve as well as his capstone project to reduce disposable plastic utensils throughout Wilton Schools earning Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Medals. Addy co-founded Feeding 500 and raised over $56,000 for Open Doors to end homelessness in lower Fairfield County. She also dedicated time to Bronx Lacrosse and UNICEF. This Fall Addy will be attending Lafayette College and Daniel will be attending Dartmouth College.
